Overview
The DC Launch Lab offered by IBG Consulting Group, is an innovative summer program tailored for youth ages 9-13. The DC Launch Lab empowers participants to become confident young entrepreneurs through hands-on product creation. Scholars launch real products online using platforms like Etsy and Printify, mastering product development, digital marketing, and financial management. Through engaging workshops, mentorship, and the exciting Futrepeneurs Pitch Contest, participants develop essential career readiness skills including communication, critical thinking, and teamwork. This transformative experience combines business education with practical application, equipping young people with entrepreneurial mindsets and the tools to build sustainable ventures while fostering financial literacy and professional confidence that will serve them throughout their lives.
All participants will earn $125 weekly with full participation in program activities.

What They Will Learn
At the DC Launch Lab students will:
Real Product Creation – Participants launch products that will be featured on Etsy. While developing these products through Printify while learning e-commerce fundamentals and gaining hands-on entrepreneurial experience.
Digital Marketing & Branding – Young entrepreneurs master social media strategies using platforms like TikTok and Instagram to build their brand identity, engage audiences, and drive organic growth for their businesses.
Financial Literacy & Business Management – Scholars learn essential money skills including revenue tracking, budgeting, pricing strategies, and reinvestment planning to ensure their ventures are profitable and sustainable.
Futrepeneurs Pitch Contest – The program culminates in an exciting pitch competition where participants present their business ideas to judges, building public speaking confidence and competing for recognition and potential seed funding.
